CollegeAmerica Celebrates 2013 Graduates Denver
Students Commemorate Education Victories With Families and Supporters
Denver (June 19, 2013) — CollegeAmerica, a leading provider of on-campus and online higher education, celebrated the achievements of 172 graduates at its Denver campus commencement last Friday. Students earned 121 associate degrees and 35 bachelor’s degrees during the graduation ceremonies.
“We are so proud of our students and their accomplishments,” said Campus Director Nathan Larson. “For many of our students, it’s been a long journey as they’ve balanced families, jobs and other priorities. But that is exactly what CollegeAmerica is here for, to work with dedicated individuals so they can achieve their career goals.”
Commencement keynote speaker Dr. Biff Gore is president and CEO of Living Waters Transplant Foundation. Prior to his transplant career, Gore served in the United States Army Medical Corp as a surgical technologist and a surgical physician’s assistant. He spends his free time playing guitar and writing music for Dr. Biff and The Smokehouse Blues Band.
