CollegeAmerica Celebrates 2013 Graduates Phoenix

Students Commemorate Education Victories With Families and Supporters

Phoenix (June 11, 2013) — The Phoenix campus of CollegeAmerica, a leading provider of on-campus and online higher education, celebrated the achievements of 106 graduates during its 2013 graduation ceremony held last week at the Glendale Civic Center. The college awarded 96 associate and 10 bachelor’s degrees.

The commencement’s keynote speaker, Eric Juhlin, is chief executive officer of the Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE), the parent organization of CollegeAmerica, Stevens-Henager College, Independence University and California College San Diego.

“We are proud of our students and their accomplishments,” said Cindy Smith, campus director of the Phoenix campus. “For many of our students, it’s been a long, hard road as they’ve balanced families, jobs and other priorities most college students don’t juggle while in school. But that is exactly what CollegeAmerica is here for, to work with these types of dedicated individuals so they can achieve their career goals.”

Among the graduates was Irene Archuleta. She enrolled at CollegeAmerica as a 45-year-old single mother with a dream of making a better life for her son. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. Her training at CollegeAmerica was imperative to her professional success. She is currently an office manager for Your Neighborhood Healthcare Center (YNHC) and played a key role in opening two additional medical clinics with the group.

CollegeAmerica offers degree programs in healthcare, business, graphic arts and computer science. For more information about CollegeAmerica, visit CollegeAmerica.edu or call 1-877-535-0012.
