Cheyenne Campus Information

Yesterday's colorful legends come to life, energized by the vitality of one of today's most vibrant western cities, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Cheyenne is located near the geographical and time center of North America strategically situated at a major transportation hub (the intersection of Interstates 25 and 80 and two major railroads). Only 90 minutes north of Denver, Colorado, Cheyenne sits as the northern anchor city of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The "Magic City of the Plains" is an active economic, cultural and political center for the northern plains and is the capital of the state of Wyoming.

Rodeo and Railroad Capital Cheyenne, Wyoming boasts many western attractions, including Cheyenne Frontier Days, the world's largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration. Cheyenne's colorful railroad history ranges from its historic train depot to Big Boy, the world's largest steam engine.

Cheyenne Frontier Days, The Daddy of 'em All has been kicking up dust since 1897 with the world's largest outdoor rodeo and Western Celebration. Highlighting ten days of rip-roarin' excitement is the world's best PRCA rodeo action and Western entertainment. It's non-stop activity and hospitality at its Western best!

Cheyenne Depot

Designated a National Historic Landmark, this former Union Pacific Depot has been restored to its original glory. The Depot features the Cheyenne Depot Museum, rich with railroad history, exhibits and interactive displays. Outside, the Cheyenne Depot Plaza plays host to concerts and other events.

F.E. Warren Air Force Base

F.E. Warren Airforce Base serves as a command center for U.S. Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and as a training ground for the U.S. Air Force

From muskets to missiles, the base has had an important role in meeting our country’s national security objectives. Their office provides support for tours, speakers, wing mission and historic information, as well as logistical support when authorized.
