CollegeAmerica’s Flagstaff campus fits well among other
colleges in Flagstaff, a well known University town. With a
population of 55,000, Flagstaff provides a well educated
workforce. Over 45% of the population has a college degree,
and the Greater Flagstaff Economic Council is developing a
strong, technical base for employers to bring their
companies here, attracting many enterprises to move into
this area with its technically skilled and educated
workforce. The expanding job market provides jobs in

Administration, W.L. Gore & Associates, Northern Arizona
University, Flagstaff Unified School District, Flagstaff
Medical Center, the United States Forest Service, along with
a host of travel and tourism related businesses.
Unemployment is typically low with a solid student base
covering entry level jobs. Graduates from our college in
Flagstaff can expect to enter their fields at a competitive
salary, with Medical positions leading the way. Finally,
tourism, though not easily identifiable as a separate
economic sector, is a very important industry in Flagstaff.
Opened
in 2002, one of the latest campuses of the CollegeAmerica /
Stevens–Henager group that operates campuses in Utah,
Colorado, Idaho, California, and Arizona, the College
America Flagstaff campus is located on the North side of
town on Route 66 and Steves Boulevard. Our college in
Flagstaff offers a medical lab, a computer lab, many large
classrooms, a library, a student lounge, a school-wide
computer network, and up-to-date learning support equipment.
CollegeAmerica brings a new standard of excellence to
college in Flagstaff. Focused on the needs of our students,
our campuses are designed to NOT be "students factories",
but to be smaller and offer a personal, intimate environment
where you will not be considered a number or just another
student.
In line with this personalized attention, all our
graduates receive intensive Employment Assistance, with the
result that CollegeAmerica graduates achieve a very high
rate of employment and see their income significantly
increase as a result of their education.
Accredited by ACCSC, the Flagstaff campus is currently
offering three programs with classes being held during the
day and in the evening. The occupational medical
certifications are offered through the National Center for
Competency Testing (NCCT) while the optional computer
certifications are offered through Prometric.
CollegeAmerica Flagstaff participates in the Title IV
Federal Financial Aid program and offers Financial Planning
support to the students who qualify.
The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration
program is designed to help professionals meet increasing
responsibilities in healthcare professions. Both the
Medical Specialties and the Computer Technology
Programs are Associate Degree (Occupation) programs, and
have been designed to emphasize the development of practical
skills through focused, hands-on learning.
These
programs are tailored to prepare the students for immediate
employment in their field after graduation.
The San Francisco Mountains, crowned by the Humphrey Peak
towering at 12,670 feet,create an island of Ponderosa forest
in the midst of the desert of the high Coconino plateau.
Sacred to the Navajo and surrounding tribes, the Peaks
provide year-round outdoor recreation with hiking, mountain
biking, camping, fishing and hunting. One of the Seven
Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon, sits only eighty
miles northwest and brings people from all over the world.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, it is no wonder that
people of all ages and cultures have found a home in
Flagstaff.
