CollegeAmerica Inc. Announces William C. Clohan as New Board Member
Clohan Brings 20+ Years’ Experience to Board of Directors
Salt Lake City (July 10, 2012) —CollegeAmerica, a leading provider of on-campus and online higher education, today announced the addition of William C. Clohan to its board of directors.
"Bill brings a rich background in the higher-education sector to our board and his expertise and contributions will be felt immediately," said Eric Juhlin, CEO. Clohan most recently served as senior advisor to the president of the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU). His deep experience in the higher-education industry includes founding the U.S. Education Corporation; working as executive director of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools; acting as general counsel to the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and the Association of Independent Colleges and Schools; and serving as U.S. undersecretary of education.

Clohan holds a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center, a master's degree in administration from George Washington University, and a bachelor's degree in political science and in international affairs from the U.S. Air Force Academy. From 1982 to 1996 he was a founding partner with the Washington, D.C.-based law firm Clohan & Dean, which represented education and bank institutions before Congress, state and federal agencies.
