First-Time Degree Scholarship:

Applicant is the first person in his or her immediate family (parents and siblings) to pursue a college degree. This is the first degree program the applicant has pursued.

Single-Parent Student Scholarship:

Applicant must be the single custodial parent for a child under the age of 18 (proof required) and be presently single, divorced, or widowed.

Applicants are female, have children under age 18, demonstrate their financial need via the FAFSA process, and enroll in an accounting program at the college.

Minority Groups

Hispanic Student Scholarship:

Applicant is of Hispanic heritage, is fluent in Spanish and English, and is a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Healthcare

Healthcare Provider Scholarship:

Applicants need to enroll in a healthcare program, demonstrate their financial need via the FAFSA process, and submit a 500-word essay about why they’re interested in the healthcare profession.

Applicants need to demonstrate their financial need via the FAFSA process, express their desire to eventually join the nursing profession, and enroll in a healthcare program at the college.

Applicants need to enroll in a business program at the college and submit a draft of a business plan.

IT Professional Scholarship:

Applicants need to enroll in an IT program, demonstrate their financial need via the FAFSA process, and earn at least one vendor certification prior to graduation.

Leadership Scholarship:

Applicants need to have demonstrated leadership experience.

General requirements:

  • Scholarships can be awarded only to new students.
  • A student cannot receive more than one scholarship from the college. Students are encouraged to also pursue external scholarships.
  • To stay eligible for a scholarship, recipients need to maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and 85% attendance./li>
  • Scholarships that include specific eligibility criteria can be awarded only after application and eligibility determination.
