Even though the CollegeAmerica campuses are closing in Colorado, its legacy and traditions will continue to live on through the Center for Excellence in Higher Education’s (“CEHE”) family of colleges.

Yes. Your degree from CollegeAmerica is still valid. The degree you received from CollegeAmerica was from an accredited institution. CollegeAmerica is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, ACCSC. And ACCSC is an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Yes. The closure of the campus will not affect any of the credits that you earned at CollegeAmerica before the closure. Any credits that you have earned you can keep. Any credits that you earned at CollegeAmerica were earned at an accredited institution. CollegeAmerica is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, ACCSC. And ACCSC is an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Your academic records will be preserved and accessible after the CollegeAmerica campuses in Colorado close. Your records will be preserved and maintained by the Center for Excellence in Higher Education, Inc. CollegeAmerica graduates, and former students, can access their records through CEHE’s Independence University and the Independence University Registrar’s Office.

Yes! CollegeAmerica graduates can receive Career Services for a full year after graduation! As a graduate, we’ll continue to assist you in your job search. Take advantage of this valuable, no-cost service up to a full year after graduation. Career Services can help you in making informed decisions about your career, identify employment opportunities, and fine-tune your job search skills. Although the college does not guarantee employment, we can provide networking techniques, contacts, potential interviews, and guidance during the job seeking process.
