What to do if You Have to Miss Class

Few people, if any, go through their college career without having to miss a class or two along the way.  Illness arise, emergencies pop up, perhaps the appeal to stay in bed is simply too great, but whatever the reason, whether legitimate or not, missing out on classes in college is not something that a person should take lightly.
Skipping out or being forced to miss college courses can cause a student to fall behind in the class, fail to turn in an assignment or project, miss important information like test schedules, or miss tests themselves.  And even if the class has nothing more than a lecture from the professor, the student who misses the class will have missed out on the importation information delivered through the lecture.

Battling With Words: The Trick to Writing Research Papers

When I was in college I hated doing research papers. My instructors always presented writing papers wrong. They’d tell me, “You cite your research to prove you don’t plagiarize,” or, “When you get into the real world you’ll do a lot of research, so it’s good practice,” or my personal favorite, “You need sources because your opinion alone isn’t enough.”
