Cheyenne students earn new academic degrees

Cheyenne students earn new academic degrees – Wyoming Tribune Eagle

Several students from Laramie County were among those to graduate this spring from colleges and universities across the county.

Area students who earned degrees include:

•Daniel Wright graduated with a degree in anthropology and a double minor in French and film studies from Colorado College in Colorado Springs,Colo. Daniel is the son of Jack Wright and Teresa Wright of Cheyenne.

Daniel is a member of Pi GammaMu,the National Honor Society in the Social Sciences; the Capital One, Academic All­ American, second team; the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All­ Conference second team; the SCAC All Sportsmanship Team and the SCAC Honor Roll, 2009-2012. He was also chosen Male Athlete of the Year at Colorado College.

•Thirteen Cheyenne students graduated from the Cheyenne branch campus ofCollegeAmerica:

Amanda Cazares, Dustine Eckhardt,Angelica Exinia, Justin Grimm,Michelle Hamilton, Thomas Kaser,Whitney Madrid,Maria Molina, Pamela Perea, Heather Roland, Crystal Spracklen-Edmunds, Lachelle Teasley and Kyle Woolington.

•Two Cheyenne students were among those to graduate from Northwest Community College in Powell:William Austin and Savannah Minder.

•Cheyenne student Eshter Cho earned a Juris Doctor in law from Boston University this spring.

•Kelsey Moler received the Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Luther College in Decorah,Iowa.
