CollegeAmerica Colorado Springs Hosts Life Skills Sessions

Colorado Springs, CO – From January 28th – 31st, the Colorado Springs campus of CollegeAmerica is hosting several life skills mini sessions. The mini sessions are free and open to the public.

The campus is located on 2020 North Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs.

You must be 16 and older to participate in the sessions. Topics include health and wellness (first aid, deciphering medical insurance forms, and CPR) as well as business topics (keys to business success, resume preparation, accounting, and more). See below for the complete schedule.


11:30 – Keys to Business Success (Analysis of business ideas for viability.)

1:00 – First Aid (American Heart Association)


11:30 – Deciphering Medical Insurance Forms (How to understand the forms you receive at the doctor’s office.)

1:00 – Preparing a Federal Job Resume (How to prepare a resume for a federal job.)


11:30 – Accounting for Small Businesses (Q&A for small business accounting questions.)

1:00 – CPR (American Heart Association)


11:30 – Staying safe online (How to keep yourself safe online.)

1:00 – Logical Decision Making (Using logic in day-to-day life in both decision making and problem solving for personal decisions.)
