CollegeAmerica Debuts New Flagstaff Campus at Open House

Flagstaff, Ariz (March 26, 2014)  —CollegeAmerica is hosting a week-long open house at the new Flagstaff campus, 399 S. Malpais Lane, located in the historic La Plaza Vieja neighborhood – the original “Old Town” of Flagstaff – April 7-10 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

“We are excited to debut our new campus to our students and members of the community,” said Suzanne Scales, executive director of the Flagstaff campus. “This beautiful, custom-built educational facility will benefit our students and enhance the beauty of Flagstaff’s main corridor.”

In 2012, the old Greyhound Bus Station property became available and CollegeAmerica seized the opportunity to create a facility in the heart of Old Town. It is an ideal location on the main thoroughfare of Flagstaff and within walking distance of many amenities that college students use.

The two-story building is approximately 26,000 square feet and the college will be on the second floor. The new campus is nearly double the square footage of its previous location. The facility will house 10 classrooms, including five lecture halls, three medical labs, and two computer labs, and will include a career services center, a learning resources center, a student services office and an open student lounge.

“Our student body is comprised of non-traditional, working adults who are determined to improve their lives by earning career-focused degrees,” said Scales. “We are dedicated to providing them with the best possible academic experience and facility to enhance their education.”
