CollegeAmerica graduates 56 students –

On Saturday, June 22, 56 students graduated from Flagstaff’s College- America. Three students earned bachelor’s degrees, while 53 earned associates degrees. The graduation ceremony took place at Prochnow Auditorium, with keynote speaker Coral Evans, vice mayor of Flagstaff, and student speakers Jessica Dowling and Kelly Rippey, co-valedictorians, and salutatorian Loyce Michelle.

“We are very proud of our graduating class,” Suzanne Scales, campus director said in a press release. “For many of our students, it’s been a long journey as they’ve balanced families, jobs and other priorities. And while CollegeAmerica removes some of those obstacles, the credit truly goes to these remarkable individuals who are motivated and ready to make a difference in their lives.”

CollegeAmerica offers degree programs in healthcare, business, graphic arts and computer science. CollegeAmerica is located in the Kachina Square complex off Route 66. The Flagstaff branch has been open in for 11 years.
